An independent software studio

Your ideas, our craft, delivered.

We design and build software like good furniture: measured twice, built to last, finished by hand.

Who we are

A small studio that still sketches on paper

AKARA began the way most good things do: around one table, with too much chai and a shared irritation. We kept watching businesses get handed software that technically worked and practically didn't. Bloated, confusing, built by people who never met the folks who'd use it.

So we decided to work differently. We visit your shop floor, your clinic, your warehouse. We sketch before we code. We say "no" to features that won't earn their keep, even when saying "yes" would pay better.

Seven of us share that table now: one founder, six co-founders, and an ongoing argument about fonts. The full tale lives on our stories page.

Our work

Four projects we keep bragging about

Pinned to the studio wall, slightly crooked, exactly as they are in real life.

Got something in mind?

Half an idea is plenty. Tell us about it, and a real person, never a bot, replies within one working day.

Let's get this started
